European markets show significant disparity in broadband user experience
In this analysis, Opensignal looks at user experience on broadband networks across 28 European markets. We have focused on three user experience measures — Broadband Download Speed, Broadband Upload Speed and Broadband Consistent Quality, the latter being a measure of how often users’ experience on a network is sufficient to support common applications’ requirements.

In our latest mobile network experience report for Finland we see a close contest between the national operators on the awards table. DNA leads with three outright wins and another eight joint wins – the operator wins outright both overall speed awards and the 5G Upload Speed award, continuing from the previous report, but shares both gaming awards this time around.
Quantifying Norway’s urban-rural mobile experience divide
In this Opensignal analysis, we have looked at how Norway’s mobile network experience varies across rural and urban areas. In addition to this we have also looked at similar surrounding markets for comparison — Denmark, Finland and Sweden. We have found that our urban users in all four countries see faster average download speeds than their rural counterparts. However, the rural-urban divide for Download Speed Experience is smaller in Norway than in neighboring countries.
